# A0004 - How normal pass is used to adjust Mapping, Lighting and 3D shading of elements in pre-rendered Image? #
Instructor : Pradeep Mamgain
In Shading Tool tutorial we had discussed about Shading Tool and Auxiliary Channels. As you might know RPF and RLA formats are expensive file formats. They occupy loads of space of your hard drive. However you can use Normal Pass to Re-Light or Re-Shade elements in your pre-rendered image. In this tutorial we will discuss about that. Normal Pass does not work very well with the shader tool but you should know the process. We will walk you thru quickly as shader tool is already discussed in How to control Mapping, Lighting and 3D shading of elements in pre-rendered Image?
